Secret Recording: Canada is About to Give Freedom Convoy a Huge Victory Against Vaccine Mandates

(Kyle Becker) A brand new secret recording of Ontario premier Doug Ford reveals that he is maneuvering to hand the Freedom Convoy protesters a huge victory on vaccine passports, Rebel News reports.

“We’re pulling these passports,” Ford says in the video leaked to Rebel News. “We’re going to get back to normal. I can’t get you the exact date, but it’s going to be very soon. I’ll be speaking over the next few days. Friday I’m going to put out a statement. Monday I’ll be giving some dates. And we’re going to move forward.”

The Canadian premier in Ontario earlier on Thursday, however, signaled confrontational actions to be taken against Freedom Convoy protesters, including blocking all financial and material aid to the movement.

Ford, who is the premier for Canada’s most populous province, had issued the following aggressive statement:

“Today, the Attorney General brought an application in the Superior Court of Justice for an order pursuant to section 490.8 of the Criminal Code prohibiting any person from disposing of, or otherwise dealing with, in any manner whatsoever, any and all monetary donations made through the Freedom Convoy 2022 and Adopt-a-Trucker campaign pages on the GiveSend Go online fundraising platform.”

“This afternoon, the order was issued,” the premier said. “It binds any and all parties with possession or control over these donations.”

The GiveSendGo campaign for Freedom Convoy 2022 had just cleared 8.4 million dollars.

GiveSendGo had issued a fiery response to the Canadian government.

“Know this! Canada has absolutely ZERO jurisdiction over how we manage our funds here at GiveSendGo,” the company wrote. “All funds for EVERY campaign on GiveSendGo flow directly to the recipients of those campaigns, not least of which is The Freedom Convoy campaign.”

GiveSendGo, based out of Delaware, is not subject to Canadian jurisdiction.

The Canadian premier’s sudden about-face would potentially de-escalate a confrontation that had threatened to become an international incident.

The Biden administration on Thursday called on the Canadian government to use its federal powers to “end the truck blockade by Canadians protesting the country’s COVID-19 restrictions,” the AP reported.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg discussed the situation with Canadian officials. They urged their Canadian counterparts “to use Federal powers to resolve this situation at our joint border,” the report noted.

Both the Biden administration and the Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer were advocating for Canada to use government force to quell the peaceful uprising, which had shut down bilateral trade between the United States and Canada. The protests have even forced automobile factories to scale back production.

Tucker Carlson on his show Thursday reported back-channel talk that the Whitmer regime may be offering the Canadian authorities heavy equipment to forcibly remove tractor trailers.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer had earlier issued a statement on the trucker standoff.

“My message is simple: Reopen traffic on the bridge,” she said.

“It is imperative that Canadian local, provincial, and national governments de-escalate this economic blockade,” she added. “They must take all necessary and appropriate steps to immediately and safely reopen traffic so we can continue growing our economy, supporting good-paying jobs and lowering costs for families.”

On Monday, Saskatchewan joined Alberta in motioning to lift Covid mandates in the imminent future.

The Freedom Convoy is thus poised to gain its third significant victory in a week. All it took was a massive, but peaceful act of civil disobedience to force the government’s hand.
